KDP feedback wanted...

Hi guys:

I now have an avenue to pass on feedback to a UK KDP executive.  But feedback from one person is just an opinion.  It would be great to have a consensus of opinion as that will hold more weight.  In the comments below, please leave any questions you would like me to pose to this KDP executive and I will pass them all on at the end of the month.  I won't be doing this regularly, as I do not want to inundate the poor woman with emails, but perhaps twice a year I will check in with you all and pass on your questions.

So, to repeat, this is an opportunity to get your feedback to a KDP executive.  If you have something you would like to say, say it in the comments below before the end of the month.

P.S. Matt Shaw is a bastard.

Thanks,

Iain

More communication between departments. As you know they held my money this month but the KDP team said there were no issues and I would be getting paid as usual. The tax department stated I wouldn't. A company this big should have better note making on accounts and comms between the departments to save confusions such as this.

Better communication all round. You go to them with a problem, get a standard response of when it will be coming back. They don't come back to you in this time. When they do come back - sometimes it is "we need longer to look at this" and - again - you're left waiting around.

From another author: If Amazon pull your book it would be nice to know why as opposed to a standard response of 'something about breach of terms'. If they say what it is exactly - author can fix the issue and - boom - release the book.

Customer Reviews: Should be a way of getting reviews taken down that are spoilers or completely irrelevant. Or at least give the author a button to press to 'hide' the review with a tag saying 'spoilers' so it is up to reader to click or not. I've had loads of books ruined because they discuss the endings. As an author known for twists, this sucks ass.

Refunds: If reader goes over x amount of percentage of the book - there shouldn't be a refund option.

I want to be able to see life time sales. Per book and total. If Kobo and D2D can pull this off, why not KDP?

Also, pie in the sky, integration of sales dashboards between CS, KDP, and ACX.

Yeah, I know...
